Maundy Thursday

April 1st 7:00pm

Take Part in the Last Supper

We are recreating the Last Supper to give you the opportunity to sit at one of the 12 seats as Jesus performs the Last Supper. As Jesus gathered around the table on the even of his Passion, these empty seats are an invitation for you to sit with Jesus and experience the Last Supper, allowing Christ to nourish your body & spirit. There is an answer for your every need when you sit down at the table with Jesus! (7:30, 7:45, 8:00, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 9:15)

Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane

One of the most power moments of Maundy Thursday was during Jesus’ final prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane. We have transformed our entire front lawn into the Garden where you can pray at the Rock of Agony, light candles or be anointed with oil from Jerusalem. Imagine how Jesus must have felt, He was about to be separated from His Father for the first time, He was betrayed by a friend, His other friends fell asleep when He need them most and Hell was literally breaking loose. We see Jesus struggling. He sweated drops of blood. He was facing a horror we can’t comprehend and He faced it all alone that night all for our sake. Let your heart and mind take you to the garden and feel the power of His presence.

Share in the Ceremonial Foot Washing

On the night before His death, Jesus set an example for his disciples by washing their feet. He taught that strength and growth in the Kingdom of God come not by power or authority, but by such lowly acts of service. We invite you all to participate in this servant ministry.

Good Friday

April 2nd 12:00PM

In this quiet and gentle service, we journey with Jesus from his trial before Pilate to his suffering and death on the cross. You will have the chance to symbolically nail your sins to the cross to die with Jesus, thus having a fresh new start on Resurrection Sunday!

Resurrection Sunday Services

April 4th  6:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:11am

Sunrise Service 6:30AM Lake Side Park

Without a doubt, the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord, stands alone as one of the most renowned events in all history. Join us in celebrating his “greatest of events” and the promise of a new day, new life and new world. We will be having a Sunrise Service at Lakeside Park at 6:30am. It was dawn when the first believers went to the tomb of Jesus and found the rock rolled away and Jesus’ body gone. So it makes sense that this earth shaking event would be celebrated when the sun comes up.

Resurrection Sunday Services 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:11am- Sanctuary

Services celebrating Christ’s glorious resurrection will also take place in the sanctuary at Community Presbyterian Church at 8, 9:30 & 11:11 am. Experience the stone being rolled away the power of the resurrection!
