What a motley crew of Six! Some of our Casuarina boys from left to right: Kadenge, Toby, Nicholas, Right, Dickson and Dennis  actually made a great crew earlier this month. Donning their masks they ventured into the village with us in the Casuarina mini bus to distribute maize flour to the orphans on the feeding

program. As usual their eagerness to help was much appreciated by the 500 children who received a month’s supply of maize flour. The young lad below was one of the many happy recipients.

Feed500 has taken a new look during COVID-19, with us going to them once a month rather than them coming to us weekly. Driving through the village to our various locations to distribute the packets we’ve experienced more people than ever turn up desperate for food. Elderly ladies calling out to us “we are hungry too”  was quite alarming and overwhelming.  It makes me realize just how lucky we are in the west, despite lock down to still afford the simple necessity of three meals per day.

You may remember this picture previously shown of students in their chemistry class at Celebration High School. Sadly our beloved Teacher Lewis died last month from a brain tumor. He is greatly missed. We are currently interviewing for a new science teacher ready for when the students return to school in

January 2021.Teacher Lewis’s shoes will be hard to fill!
