When the covenant promises of God collide with our lives everything begins to align. The world looks a little brighter, our breathing feels a little lighter, the word hope becomes a way of life! We believe that through Jesus we can achieve goals and dreams that seemed so far off. It’s the point we step into the life that had been laid out before we were even born, and take on the cause of bringing God’s Kingdom here on earth. Revealing Gods Glory by receiving His grace given to us in Jesus.

In order to live a life believing that God and His Son brought us promises that would change us and the way we think, we first must know what these promises are, both old and new. Old Covenant was a physical agreement at Mt. Sinai between God and the children of Israel.  This required the individual to be obedient to the commandments to the letter. A person would then in turn be blessed or cursed according to what they did or did not do. Unlike the old covenant, the new covenant is based on spiritual. It’s founded on an obedience from the heart of the individual and a fulfilling of God’s law not only in letter, but also in spiritual intent. Our belief that Jesus is The Way to God the Father gives us the desire and ability to pursue Gods plan for our lives. In Christ we can participate in all of the blessings God promised Abraham without the curses. (Galatians 3:13)

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

This is life-changing information here! We aren’t condemned to live the life we should have lived because of the sin epidemic we have. Jesus came to make us right with God again so that we could live out the promises He created for us.

Under the new covenant law of grace God forgives our sins. There was a blood sacrifice made for us, paid for by The Lamb, who died on the cross. There justice was satisfied and God’s forgiveness was made perfectly complete.

God promises to remember our sins no more. (Hebrews8:12)

For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”

The new covenant is an everlasting covenant of love and peace. (Isaiah 54:10)

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”

We don’t have to worry about having to earn our way to God. We are qualified through His Son Jesus being in our lives. It’s not about what we do, it’s about who we trust to do for us! (Colossians 1:12)

“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”

Jesus is our strength. He grabs a hold of us and never let’s go. There is nothing that can separate us from His love. Our Hope in Him becomes a firm and secure anchor for the soul. (Philippians 3:12)

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.”

God gives us the Holy Spirit to teach us in the Fathers ways. He empowers us and reminds us of our righteousness through Jesus. We no longer need priest to speak on our behalf, through the Holy Spirit we get to know God. (John 16:13)

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth,

for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak,

and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

God is for us! The grace He gave to us is shown in the love of Jesus. This is undeserved grace, but yet is given to us! By His graced we have been saved. There is no condemnation for those of us that call Jesus Lord over our lives! (Romans 8:31-32)

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be

against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”

God is with us! Jesus is the door to the throne room of God for us. We can now approach Him with confidence and be free of the bondages this world tries to tie us to. We have authority in Christ Jesus to overcome our enemies, disease, and demons. How blessed are we, we live under Divine protection! (Luke 10:19)

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”

Are you feeling tired? God gives us rest. Under the old covenant it was, “do, do do,” under the new it’s “done, done, done.” We are renewed in Christ, He did the work we could not do, so that we could be made new. We are new creations responding to God the Father through our spiritual connection to Him. It’s the Christ within us that get the work done. Pray every day to see the work load ahead. God never puts more on our plates than we can handle doing it with Jesus.  If we’re feeling run down, time to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Possibly the work we are doing is on our own accord and not through the strength of our Savior. (Matthew 11:28-30))

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

God gives us eternal life. We don’t have to live a life of dread of the unknown, we are here to live this life to its fullest knowing we have a place in eternity. We are not alone, not in this life or in the next. God’s promises in the new covenant with Jesus His Son, give us the ability to press on. (Romans 6:23)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

These are what are available to each and every one of us, right here, right now. Not because of anything we’ve done or have to do, but because of everything God the Father and Jesus the Son put together for us. Our only commitment is that we are unfailing in believing that God sent Jesus to die for us. Talk about us getting the better end of the deal.

The New Covenant has been made and sealed by the blood of the Lamb. It’s time for us to step in and be a part of God’s plan. As you read these promises, read them with you in mind, because when they were made, God and Jesus, were thinking of each and every one of us.

Have a blessed week. Hold onto the promises from the new covenant given to us and watch the world around us change. It will have an everlasting effect, changing us into who we’re have been created to be. Sons and daughters of the Most High God, justified through Jesus His Son! Let’s get moving there’s Heavenly work to be done.
