The word “trust” is found in the Bible 127 times. Obviously, this is something important that God wanted us to grasp from Him. Although trust is something close to the Father’s heart, it’s definitely easier said than done. I can tell you firsthand that waiting on God’s promises has required me to practice a huge amount of patience, grace, and it has exercised my ability and willingness to place my trust in Him. Sometimes I feel like God is waiting to move when He knows He has all of my trust and attention.

God has made us promises for our families, our careers, our financials… His promises are never-ending and always new. Place your trust in the Father and remember this scripture, especially when it feels like His promises are far away and your trust is being tested, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
